We are in-network with Medicare and with UnitedHealthcare / Optum Behavioral Health. Anthem BCBS through Carelon, Aetna, and Nevada Medicaid are pending. For other plans we provide a detailed superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, and we verify your coverage at no charge before your first visit.
Turquoise Care (New Mexico Medicaid) covers telehealth psychiatric services, though we are not currently in-network with Medicaid in this state. Self-pay pricing and sliding-scale options are available.
Common plans in New Mexico include Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico, Presbyterian Health Plan, Western Sky Community Care. Where we are out of network we provide detailed superbills for possible reimbursement, plus a self-pay discount with sliding-scale options. Coverage is verified before your first visit.
Medicare Part B covers telehealth psychiatric services with no geographic restriction, at the same rates as in-person care. Medicare Advantage PPO members can be seen out of network.

New Mexico is among the most rural states in the country, and nearly every county outside the Albuquerque corridor is federally designated as a mental health professional shortage area. Waits for a first appointment with a prescriber commonly run into months. For patients in Farmington, Roswell, Gallup, or Las Cruces, the nearest psychiatric prescriber can be a two or three hour drive each way, which makes monthly medication management impractical rather than merely inconvenient.
Telehealth removes the distance problem outright. Appointments happen from home, follow-ups stay consistent, and medication adjustments do not wait for the next time you can take a day off work to drive.
