We are in-network with Medicare and with UnitedHealthcare / Optum Behavioral Health. Anthem BCBS through Carelon, Aetna, and Nevada Medicaid are pending. For other plans we provide a detailed superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, and we verify your coverage at no charge before your first visit.
Texas Medicaid / STAR covers telehealth psychiatric services, though we are not currently in-network with Medicaid in this state. Self-pay pricing and sliding-scale options are available.
Common plans in Texas include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Superior HealthPlan, Community Health Choice, Cigna, Aetna. Where we are out of network we provide detailed superbills for possible reimbursement, plus a self-pay discount with sliding-scale options. Coverage is verified before your first visit.
Medicare Part B covers telehealth psychiatric services with no geographic restriction, at the same rates as in-person care. Medicare Advantage PPO members can be seen out of network.

More than three quarters of Texas counties have no practicing psychiatrist. The shortage is worst along the border, across West Texas, and in the rural east, where the nearest prescriber can be several hours away and the nearest one who takes insurance further still.
