Telehealth appointments are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection. You must be physically located in one of our 15 licensed states at the time of your appointment. We'll send you a secure link before your visit.
We accept Medicare, Medicaid (varies by state), Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, and Tricare. Self-pay options are available for all services. We verify your insurance before your first appointment — contact us and we'll check your coverage at no charge.
Yes — and this is one of the most unique aspects of our practice. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with full practice authority, Kristin McKnight can provide both psychotherapy and medication management. Many patients prefer this integrated model because their prescriber understands their therapy and vice versa.
Spravato (esketamine) is an FDA-approved nasal spray for treatment-resistant depression (TRD), administered in our Las Vegas office with a required 2-hour monitoring period. Unlike IV ketamine, Spravato is FDA-approved and covered by Medicare Part B and most major commercial insurance plans with prior authorization. We handle all prior auth paperwork on your behalf.
Yes. Federal telehealth flexibilities allow buprenorphine (Suboxone) to be prescribed via telehealth without an in-person visit requirement. After an initial telehealth evaluation, a prescription can be sent to your pharmacy. Follow-up appointments are also conducted via telehealth in any of our 15 licensed states.
No — Botox PREEMPT is completely separate from cosmetic Botox. It is an FDA-approved treatment for chronic migraine prevention using onabotulinumtoxinA, administered via 31 injections across 7 specific head and neck muscle groups every 12 weeks. Covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurance plans as a medical necessity. Requires an in-person visit at our Las Vegas, NV office.
Yes. Gambling disorder counseling, including psychiatric medication management and behavioral therapy, is available via telehealth in all 15 of our licensed states. As a Las Vegas-based practice, we have particular expertise treating gambling disorder in a city where gambling is embedded in everyday life.
